Our Mission
The Plastic-Free Packaging Alliance was created to educate the public and promote the concept of plastic-free commerce. We aim to displace as much toxic, petrochemical-based packaging as possible with non-toxic, eco-friendly alternatives to dramatically reduce the burden waste places on the both the environment's creatures and our future generations.
Here's how

Inform the public, using all forms of multimedia resources, that they can help change the world through their choices and going plastic free is a big important step!

Identify suppliers of alternative packaging options and help connect them with potential users.

Educate manufacturers about the benefits of choosing sustainable eco alternatives.

Create an easily identifiable symbol and certification, validation that will allow consumers to recognize plastic-free product options.

Create public facing events, advertisements, PR and PSAs that celebrate companies that join the PFPA and invite others to do the same.

Create a website with a search engine to help consumers find our members and manufacturers discover the solutions and resources to transition to plastic-free packaging.

Hold eco fundraisers to promote the cause and showcase plastic-free initiatives.

Align with other Business and Public organizations such as American Sustainable Business Association, Surfrider Foundation, and Friends of the Earth to co-promote.

Track our progress and Impacts in industry sectors with a tonnage saved metrics, and other valid measurement systems.

Explore and form relationships with governmental agencies that can support and incentivize this transition to plastic free packaging
A letter from the founder
Hello, my name is David Sandoval and I am the founder of a new nonprofit organization 501(c)(3) called the Plastic Free Packaging Alliance.

My experience converting my entire supplement line into biodegradable, eco, plastic-free packaging inspired me to help others do the same. We are excited to be a part of the change that is needed in the world today, and we know that you will be as well.
The PFPA is an alliance, and this alliance requires partners who are equally focused, motivated and dedicated to this mission.
As the founder, I would like to personally invite you to become a member, or perhaps a founding member of the PFPA as we create a paradigm shift of great importance for this planet and its inhabitants!
